This gauge can save your injection pump. If supply pressure is lost, the injection pump overheats and fails causing a major expense.
The 1998-2002 24 Valve Dodge Cummins is equipped with a Bosch Rotary injection pump, damage can result if this pump is starved for fuel. This can result from: A plugged fuel filter. Plugged or restricted fuel tank pick-up. Weak or malfunctioning factory lift pump. High demand/low fuel supply. (High performance engines)
NOTE: A snubber is required to remove the pulsation from the lift pump to the gauge. Also a tubing kit is required for installation(see related products below).
