Understanding IDID and It's Implications
Internal Diesel Injector Deposits (IDID) are a persistent issue faced by diesel engines in mining and industrial settings. These deposits form within the fuel injectors due to a combination of factors such as impurities in diesel fuel, incomplete combustion, and the inherent design of modern engines. Over time, IDID can lead to various problems:
Reduced Efficiency
IDID restricts proper fuel atomization and alters injector spray patterns, leading to inefficient combustion.
